MacBook-Pro(MBP) 13" Retina 2015 - Unboxing & First Impressions

Recently my Sony Viao gave up and This Diwali, I gifted myself a New MacBook Pro 13" Retina.

Here are some of the Unboxing Pics.

One of the most surprising things for me was the weight & the boot up time. It only takes around 10 seconds to boot and weighs approximately 1.5 Kgs.

The Force-Touch was one of the biggest improvements over the previous generation MBP. Force-Touch facilitates easy access controls for previewing or renaming files, previewing a link, etc. Although not all the apps are utilising the power of force-touch, its a matter of time most of the apps will start supporting the same.

Apple has removed the Battery Indicator lights from this model. To be honest, I feel Apple should have kept this feature as it was a nice way to check the battery percentage without turning on the MBP.

It takes approximately 2 hours to fully charge and the battery lasts for almost 9 hours.

Overall I m quite happy with the performance of the machine and the build quality of the same.
